Improving WASH in Health Facilities

4 health facilities equipped with fully piped and mechanized water serving mothers, babies and health workers. Over 10,000 mothers and babies saved from infection. Antenatal attendance increased by over 80%. Recognized by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and UNICEF as a model of sustainability.

Community Action Against Child Marriage

22 girls rescued from child marriage. A documentary on child marriage produced. 5,000 adolescents reached with sexuality education. 10,000 community members informed on birth registration and child marriage prevention.

Stop TB Partnership / National TB Programme

FIND TB Cases

1,023 people screened for TB. 6 TB cases found and put on treatment, reducing the TB burden in the Upper East Region by 90% in 2018 alone.

Empirical evidence on petty corruption in health service delivery collected and shared with the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service. Increased inter-sector collaboration on accountability.
