RISE-Ghana is a local Ghanaian Human Rights and Sustainable Development NGO registered in 2011 by a group of young people concerned about widespread poverty and inequality in Northern Ghana and the limited application of rights-based approaches in development programmes. We seek to promote human dignity and sustainable development through rights-based approaches in all development interventions.
Over the years, the organization has grown into a reputable go-to local NGO for state and non-state actors, donors, multilateral organizations and media seeking to advance their mandates in the sphere of human rights, human security and peace building, health, disability, governance and visibility of their programming.

RISE-Ghana is duly registered with the Registrar General Department and the Non-Profit Secretariat as a National NGO, operating across Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies with systems and procedures ensuring compliance, programme quality, value for money and donor visibility.
